Burning Permits

A BURNING PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL BURNING WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP AT ALL TIMES

Exception: Small personal campfire with flames no higher than 2 feet.

To request a burning permit please call the township hall at 616-875-7707 a minimum of 48 hours before you would like to burn.

Please include the following in your request:

Name

Address

Contact information (Phone #)

When and what is to be burned

Means of extinguishment that will be available and on site during burning (garden hose, bucket, ect...)

 

 

 

Address Signs

High visibility address signs with reflective numbers on both sides

Available to all Blendon Township residents for purchase

$10 for the sign only

$20 for the sign and installation
